We was after a builder for some work to be done and Steve got recommended and after that we have used him every time we have needed work Steve and his team came to do a loft conversion and we are very impressed with the work that was carried out and the team was really clean and he stuck to the budget and the overall work was outstanding a d amazing will recommend him and is team to my friends and family

Steve and his team have done a wonderful job on our new conservatory. Steve was so understanding as were on a limited budget. He gave us great advice and did his best to keep the job on track. Steve was recommended by two friends and though we had to wait before the work was started, it was definately worth it.
I know that I can go to Steve for help with construction issues and for contacts on other issues that come with buildings and gardens.

When i wanted to do a full renovation and single storey extension on one of our properties, i approached a highly experienced builder i know who subsequently pointed me towards Steve Brown Construction. The highly experienced builder’s words were, “Steve is the best young builder in Yorkshire and should you not be happy with his work, come back to me and i will refund you all your money”.
I can safely say i will never go back to the highly experienced builder for my money back because, after the full renovation and single storey extension, Steve and me went on to convert a 3bed mid-terrace into a 5bed ensuite HMO and we are looking to complete 2 new builds together within the next few months.

Steve and his team have recently completed 2 extensions on my home. They made the whole process as smooth as possible and finished the job in the time frame that he had estimated. The quality of the work is second to none and I could not recommend them highly enough. Great builders and great guys!

In all occasions he exceeded our expectation. He always kept to timelines, cost and provided high quality workmanship. No job is too small or too large and distance is no issue. Steve was recommended to us by a family member when we needed some building work completed. This involved removing an internal wall, breaking through and installing a new outside door and modifications to a couple of windows and associated plastering ready for the kitchen fitters.
They came when they said they would and completed the work to budget in a timely manner. There is often some snagging after major work, which in our case was very minor but Steve sorted this out effectively and promptly. Major building work generally creates a mess but Steve’s team kept this to a minimum.
What impressed me was Steve’s experience and hands on approach, keeping a close eye on the work and completing some of it himself.
I would certainly use him again and recommend him to friends and family.

Steve and his team completely renovated my bungalow, including re roofing it and built an extension at the same time. The attitude of everyone was brilliant and I was really pleased with the workmanship, five years on I am still pleased.
There was one snagging issue,with a roof gully but Steve came back straight away to sort it out with no quibble whatsoever. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Steve has done numerous projects for us, the work has always been done to a really high standard, in the agreed timescale and with the minimum of disruption. Communications are excellent, and I can’t recommend him enough.

Steve has done a lot of work for us over the years, starting with a garage conversion that was superbly done incorporating a shower room & toilet etc. A low stone wall encompassing our whole property, paving on 3 different areas, a kitchen extension with Velux roof lights and even drilling out a hedgehog hole in our wall. All of this is done with a smile and a laugh, I do not even get my 3 quotes that I religiously used to do after he done the first job as I know he is always fair. Steve is the best builder ever, Very professional, his work is second to none and he is a very clean and tidy worker.He has done 4 jobs for me and my husband and I would never consider anyone else. He is simply the best .
